It's a great time to sit under a tree with new friends and old, eating homemade brownies, or maybe some good organic veggies from the Gays Mills COmmunity? Co-op, a few blocks away (good beer there too!)
I met Becca, and Maya, and Garret, and Clancey, Ben and Sabrina, Greg, Paul and Liz, Scilla, Dave, Pat and Ed and many others. New friends are many and a growing number!!
Old friends are ever more valued in this hard-edged world. Jane and Kevin are our gracious, hard-working and hard-partying hosts, Tim Jenkins is a master weaver of tune and dance, old Portunus indeed! Some of those square dancers sure start to seem like whirling dervishes when ol' Brother Tim's calling the steps! Rob, and Peter and Devorah, Eric, Susan and John from Frogwater (and another little activist fiddler on the way!)
A great time indeed, firmly cementing the beautiful coulees of the Kickapoo watershed in my heart.
