Comment on a Book Review of "The God Theory"

A devout Christian (as Prof. Haisch apparently is) does not need to rely on his PhD in Astrophysics to 'prove' his belief in a creator God. I suppose it's a good way to fill up a book, but there is no evidence from science for his belief.
While consciousness may very well drive the development of complexity in the 'lower dimensions' from a seat in the vibrations of the higher (vis brane cosmology), there is no reason or evidence to believe that there is some omniscient or omnipotent individual involved.
Far more likely, and more satisfying to Occam, would be that complexity arises out of quantum or string fundamentals, and that elements of consciousness aggregate into motivational thresholds by vibrational synergy and coherent harmony. Where is the prime driver? In the relationships between infinite "conxels" (consciousness 'pixels').
Deists, in general, are very small-minded, despite their PhDs or whatever. They seem to need to anthropomorphize the cosmos. Perhaps it helps them feel more important. More likely, none of us are important, cosmically, as any rational observer would see.
Still, seeking stillness in the mind, it doesn't hurt to give some attention to the smallness of our home planet, thus magnifying the glory of the Infinite which we best experience through dissolving self-importance.
