Remodelling Scrapbook - 2004
Up one levelSome snaps from the ongoing epic...
Thanks to Ken Jensen, General Contractor, Structural Engineer and Master Carpenter; Mary Beck, and her brother John Beck for their excellent and painstaking tile work!

Still hoping to have a bath before Valentine's Day!

1 Legacy & Demolition
- Some panoramics and process shots.
-
2 Build Out
- Somewhere inbetween, I was in Spain for a month and a half.
-
3 Roof
- I recoated the original tin roof this summer with Historic Restoration Grade acrylic gunk. My neighbors are pleased with the result, although the glare of the full moon off the roof keeps them awake ;-)

4 Bath & Shower Work
- Ken's a Grand Master of compound-miter cuts. There is not a single 90 degree cut in the entire tub/shower area. Mary and John are PhD's of tile cutting, to make everything work in this folded paper world. My little slate carvings are the Chinese sign for Water, the Tortoise for longevity, and a few other things not yet cut.
